ABOUT MARYANNA COLEMAN

MaryAnna Coleman is a New Jersey-based artist working primarily in watercolors, charcoal, gouache, and acrylics.  Her whimsical style reflects her affinity for color and pattern, and customers are often drawn to the level of detail in her paintings.

MaryAnna’s work is influenced by her travels, architecture, children's books and love of animals (especially dogs and birds!). She frequently works on commission, with particular success in portraits of homes, gardens, wedding scenes, pets and popular venues and restaurants like Pete's Tavern and Parker House. Currently, MaryAnna is busy with wedding and anniversary-related commissions, designing custom crests, engagement announcements, "Save the Date" notices and invitations.

She has also produced professional giclee prints of her original artwork, as well as custom note card and stationery designs. She is open to hearing any project ideas! MaryAnna’s work has been seen in Town & Country, West Elm pop-up shops and “The Scout Guide.” Most recently, New York Times best-selling author Louise Penny commissioned MaryAnna to design and create the end papers in her latest books - "Glass Houses", “Kingdom of the Blind”, “A Better Man”, and “All the Devils Are Here”.
